Ni Hao! holds retreat "Crash Course" in Kalimpong

​Ni Hao! Calcutta held an immersive Chinese "Crash Course" for HSK 3 course graduates over last week at a resort in Kalimpong, West Bengal. The students, accompanied by staff members were forbidden from speaking any english for an entire week, rather picking up Chinese by hearing the staff members conversing and using their own vocabulary. This was the first trial of an experimental type of Chinese course; though we heard mixed feedback, we are enthusiastic about reworking the structure and trying again.
